First, you’ll begin by selecting your state. Direct has over 400 locations in 13 states, but if you reside outside our footprint, we’ll share with you some insurance providers that offer affordable car insurance in your area.
Then, you’ll be asked nine simple questions. There’s no right or wrong answer, and how you respond will not be used to determine your rating. We designed the Coverage Assistant to help you identify factors that could have an impact on your coverage decision, but not to make the decision for you.

When you click on the question mark, the Coverage Assistant will explain why certain coverages are being suggested. For example, if your kiddo just received their learner’s permit, you may be presented with Comprehensive and Collision since inexperienced drivers are more likely to be in an accident.
